New, chic hotel. Nice little wellness area, which is different from what is stated in the brochure and is not included in the price. Overall a bit expensive.

The Baileys iced coffee was delicious. But the friendliness can still be worked on. Just asked to be allowed to pay when serving because we had to go to the train. Annoyed eye roll does not work.

Very good cuisine, service very friendly and attentive, wonderful outdoor area to enjoy and linger with a fantastic view of the castle lake. Direct access to the circular route around the castle lake and the castle terraces. Extraordinary place for a special experience.

We thought there was more to it. I wanted to offer my boss and my colleagues something special. When I asked, I got the answer "You could eat it!" That probably says it all. My conclusion: more appearance than reality, more wanted than skillful.

Haunschen Hof is a medieval building. Many of the photos here have nothing to do with it. Mountain lake, half-timbered house with tower, photo with a view of the half-timbered house and café or restaurant have nothing to do with the Haunschen Hof as a monument and in a historical context.

Delicious food, the meat was cooked to the point, very attractive way of serving and good, friendly service. It was just a shame that you only get the regional specialties at lunchtime in the middle of Thuringia. I also missed the atmosphere a bit, you feel like you are in an upscale hotel, which is definitely positive for some. Conclusion: If you want super delicious food, I definitely recommend this restaurant, if you like it a little quieter, more rustic and regional, I recommend the restaurant zur Nappe or the Colorado beetle.

Nice ambience inside and outside with a view of the castle lake. The staff is very competent, friendly and gives the impression that the work is fun. The quality of the food is very good and well presented. As a guest you feel very comfortable.

The food is good and the service is very nice. However, I found the price very high on our last visit. 1 starter, 2 main courses and 4 normal drinks made a total of 90 €!

Very excellent, delicious food in a great atmosphere overlooking the lake. Very friendly and nice service. We will be back. 😊

Definitely the highest class. When I, as a normal consumer in the restaurant came in, I thought to myself: "Wow". The ambience is very elegant, the waiters and waitresses very accommodating (thanks again to the super nice and helpful waiters) and the selection on the menu is really excellent. So if you are in Bad Salzungen to relax, you should definitely eat here. 1A.

Very nice restaurant located directly on the Burgsee. We ate very tasty here. The staff is friendly, attentive and quick! We would love to come back. It is better to reserve here in advance.
